Evans Welcomes a Sweet New Spot: Arie’s Artisan Cheesecake

In the heart of Evans, there’s a delightful addition to the local culinary scene that you simply can’t miss. Say hello to Arie’s Artisan Cheesecake, the brainchild of 33-year-old Arielle Page. A journey that began in her childhood has now transformed into a blooming bakery business, bringing joy to cheesecake lovers everywhere!

A Childhood Dream Realized

Arielle Page’s love for baking started when she was just seven years old. From whipping up goodies in her kitchen to making her first sale – pumpkin bread to her sixth-grade teacher – it is clear that this passion was meant to blossom. Inspired by Food Network baking shows, Arielle pursued her dreams, even though she came from a military family that often moved, landing her in Augusta during high school.

After graduating, Arielle opted for a more “practical” degree, majoring in public relations at Georgia Southern University with a minor in small business management. However, her heart was never far from baking! While juggling her studies, she worked in a cupcake shop, quickly landing the manager position despite the challenges that came with balancing a busy school schedule and a demanding job. Talk about dedication!

A Path Through Culinary Arts

After finishing her degree, Arielle’s journey took her to Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta, where she honed her skills alongside top-notch pastry chefs. Among her impressive experiences, she created amazing desserts at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, even making cookies for superstar Celine Dion! Life had been sweet, but then came a twist – the pandemic hit, reshaping her career plans.

Taking a step back, Arielle returned to Augusta to reevaluate her path. This break became a golden opportunity as she observed the local community and perfected her cheesecake recipe. She focused on health-conscious options, crafting delicious gluten-free and vegan varieties while incorporating natural sweeteners into her treats.

From Sampling to Success

With her perfected recipes in hand, Arielle began sharing mini cheesecake samples at the Augusta Market on the River. This sparked interest and soon led to initial orders flooding in. Recognizing the growing demand, she sought out the perfect location, settling on 1202 Town Park Lane in Evans. In September 2022, Arie’s Artisan Cheesecake officially opened its doors to the public!

Her vision doesn’t stop there! Recently, Arielle expanded her bakery space and launched cake-decorating classes, inviting the community to take part and unleash their creativity.

A Menu Full of Delight

If you think cheesecake means plain old New York style, think again! Arielle’s menu is bursting with a variety of flavors and sizes to cater to every palate. Right now, for the spring season, customers can enjoy a delightful honeycomb cheesecake adorned with edible flowers, creating a picture-perfect dessert! But wait, there’s more: plans are already in motion for seasonal flavors like maple bourbon in time for Father’s Day.

As the seasons change, Arielle incorporates local favorites, such as fresh strawberries in the spring and juicy Georgia peaches during summer. Come fall, expect to see rich pumpkin and sweet potato flavors stealing the spotlight!

Arielle’s Community Connection

Even with her budding business, Arielle remains committed to the local community by regularly participating in the Augusta Market on Saturdays. It’s a fantastic opportunity for locals to sample her latest offerings and connect with this talented baker.

To find out more about the exciting flavors and sweet creations that Arielle has on offer, customers can visit her website www.ariesartisancheesecake.com or check out Arie’s Artisan Cheesecake on Facebook.

With a wonderful initiative, a sprinkle of hard work, and a whole lot of passion, Arielle Page is definitely cooking up something fabulous in Evans, making it a little sweeter one cheesecake at a time!
