Sweet Success in Evans: Meet Arielle Page and Her Bakery Dream

In the charming town of Evans, a delightful venture is taking shape, and its name is Arie’s Artisan Cheesecake. This sweet endeavor is the brainchild of 33-year-old Arielle Page, a passionate baker whose love for creating delicious treats has been evident since she was just seven years old. Her journey from a little girl with an Easy Bake Oven to a flourishing bakery owner is nothing short of inspiring!

Culinary Dreams in the Making

Arielle’s first taste of entrepreneurial success came in the form of pumpkin bread she prepared for her sixth-grade teacher. You can imagine the pride little Arielle felt, knowing she could make something special that put a smile on someone’s face! Her dream of pursuing a career in baking solidified one evening when she tuned in to a baking competition on the Food Network, recognizing the joy she could bring to others through her culinary skills.

Growing up in a military family, Arielle spent her high school years in Augusta, where her parents still reside and actively support her business journey. Though Arielle originally aspired to attend culinary school, she pursued a degree in public relations with a minor in small business management at Georgia Southern University. It was during her studies that she fell back into the kitchen, managing a local cupcake shop, where her self-motivation and commitment led to a quick promotion!

A Culinary Voyage

After graduation, Arielle refined her skills at the illustrious Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta. Her journey continued at the Omni and the five-star Four Seasons Hotel, where she had the incredible opportunity to cater to high-profile clients, even making cookies for celebrities like Celine Dion! However, like many, Arielle faced challenges with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting her to return to Augusta for some soul-searching.

The Birth of Arie’s Artisan Cheesecake

During her time off, Arielle dedicated herself to creating new recipes, focusing on gluten-free and vegan cheesecake options with a twist—using natural sweeteners instead of sugar! It was this passion that led her to test the waters at the Augusta Market on the River, where she sampled her mini-cheesecakes to delighted customers. The warm reactions and support sparked the motivation she needed to dive into her own bakery venture.

After finding the perfect spot at 1202 Town Park Lane in Evans, previously home to a restaurant, Arielle launched Arie’s Artisan Cheesecake in September 2022. And that’s just the beginning! Excited about the future, she has already expanded into an adjoining suite to offer cake-decorating classes to aspiring bakers in the community.

A Flavor Wonderland

Arie’s Artisan Cheesecake specializes in a diverse range of cheesecake sizes and flavors, ensuring there’s something for every sweet tooth! From classic favorites to creative experiments, the mini-cheesecakes are a crowd-pleaser, inviting customers to taste-test their way through the menu. Seasonal creations like honeycomb cheesecake with edible flowers for spring and a planned maple bourbon cheesecake for Father’s Day promise excitement throughout the year.

Don’t miss the chance to indulge in popular seasonal offerings, including fresh strawberries in the spring, juicy Georgia peaches in summer, and cozy fall flavors like pumpkin and sweet potato. Arielle remains committed to engaging with the community by participating in the Augusta Market on the River, which continues to be a vibrant outlet for her mini-cheesecakes.
