Augusta University’s head men’s basketball coach Dip Metress announced the signing of freshman forward Daniel Daramola for the 2025-26 season. Daramola, a 6’9″ player from Decatur, Georgia, excelled at Greenforest Christian High School, averaging 17.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game, leading his team to back-to-back state championships. His competitive nature and strong performance have garnered him multiple All-Region and All-State honors. During his senior season, Daniel Daramola made a significant impact on the court, averaging 17.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. His contributions were vital in leading Greenforest Christian to back-to-back state championships. He displayed remarkable skills and consistency, being recognized as a member of the First Team All-Region for three consecutive years and earning All-State honors twice.
