The upcoming Buc-ee's location in Brunswick is set to enhance travel convenience for locals and visitors alike.
Buc-ee’s, the well-known Texas-based gas station and convenience store chain, is expanding in Georgia with a new location in Brunswick, set to open on July 1, 2025. Located at I-95 and State Hwy 99, this facility will cover 74,000 square feet with over 120 fueling spots. The store aims to cater to both locals and travelers, coinciding with summer travel peaks. Buc-ee’s has also announced plans for another store in Monroe County, marking significant growth in the state, where they currently have two locations.
Buc-ee’s, the popular Texas-based gas station and convenience store chain, is making a significant expansion in Georgia with two new locations planned, including a highly anticipated store in Brunswick, set to open on July 1, 2025. This new facility will be situated at the junction of I-95 and State Hwy 99, strategically located approximately 60 miles south of Savannah and 20 miles north of Jekyll Island.
As part of the preparations for the Brunswick store, Buc-ee’s announced on social media on April 21 that they are actively seeking employees to join the team. This new location will feature an impressive 74,000-square-foot facility and provide more than 120 fueling spots, ensuring it meets the needs of both local residents and travelers alike.
In addition to the Brunswick site, Buc-ee’s is also planning to open a fourth store in Monroe County, near Macon, with an expected opening date in early 2026. This expansion will bring the total number of Buc-ee’s locations in Georgia to four, as currently, there are only two existing stores in the state: one located in Calhoun/Adairsville at 601 Union Grove Rd. SE and another in Warner Robins/Fort Valley at 7001 Russell Pkwy.
The opening of the Brunswick Buc-ee’s is poised to coincide with the increase in summer travel, especially around the Independence Day holiday, making it a prime location for tourists and locals alike. In March, Buc-ee’s was celebrated with Buc-ee’s Day at the Georgia State Capitol, where the company was recognized for its contributions to the state’s economy and appreciation for doing business in Georgia.
Buc-ee’s has quickly become a recognizable brand known for its exceptional qualities, including clean restrooms, a diverse range of culinary offerings, and unique merchandise featuring its iconic beaver mascot. The store’s menu includes popular items such as ‘Beaver Nuggets,’ an assortment of jerky, and dishes from the ‘Texas Roundup’ menu, which features brisket, pulled pork, sausages, turkey, and roasted cinnamon nuts.
Founded in 1982, Buc-ee’s has seen impressive growth, becoming a significant player in the gas station and convenience store market not only in Texas but also across multiple states. The company is expanding nationally, with locations announced in states such as Arizona, Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina, with opening timelines extending into 2026 and beyond.
As Buc-ee’s continues to grow its footprint in Georgia and beyond, the company is set to offer travelers an expanded network of convenient stops that combine high-quality service, a unique shopping experience, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
