The Georgia Film Academy is now enrolling students for its GFA 1000/FILM 1100 Introduction to Film & Television Production course at Savannah State University. Open to students from various institutions, this six-credit-hour course provides foundational knowledge for on-set film production, covering essential equipment and techniques. Participants can gain practical experience and work toward certification, preparing them for careers in the film and entertainment industry. This introductory course provides critical foundational knowledge needed for on-set film production, covering essential industry-standard equipment, techniques, and procedures. Introduction to Film & Television Production marks the beginning of GFA’s production certification pathway. This certification program integrates classroom instruction with hands-on learning using professional equipment, ultimately allowing students to gain on-set experience through additional craft courses and optional industry internships.
