Atlanta, Georgia – U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff announced over $13 million in new federal funding designated for upgrades to regional airports across Georgia. This funding, sourced from the bipartisan infrastructure law, aims to support essential maintenance and enhancement of airport facilities statewide. Prior to this announcement, last October, Senators Warnock and Ossoff had successfully secured more than $19 million for Georgia airports through the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Terminal Program. In September 2024, they achieved over $60 million in federal investments dedicated to further airport upgrades across the state. Additionally, in May 2024, they facilitated the delivery of more than $120 million in federal grant funding to enhance airport infrastructure.
