News Summary

The ticket application process for the 2026 Masters Tournament and the Augusta National Women’s Amateur has officially begun. Golf fans can apply online until June 20 for a chance to attend these prestigious events that promise thrilling golf and beautiful scenery. With increased ticket prices compared to previous years and specific application requirements, it’s essential for enthusiasts to prepare promptly. This year, winners will be notified in late July, and strict regulations on ticket resale ensure a fair and secure purchasing experience.

Augusta, Georgia – The highly anticipated ticket application process for the 2026 Masters Tournament and the Augusta National Women’s Amateur is officially open as of June 1, 2024. Golf fans eager to attend these prestigious events have until June 20, 2024, to submit their requests for tickets.

Scheduled for April 9-12, 2026, the Masters Tournament will feature practice rounds from April 6-8. Preceding this, the Augusta National Women’s Amateur will take place the weekend prior, from April 1-4, 2026. Ticket applications for both tournaments can solely be found online at tickets.masters.com or www.anwagolf.com, and each tournament has a separate lottery application process.

Applicants can apply for up to four passes for the Masters practice rounds as well as daily tournament rounds. Additionally, up to four tickets can be requested for the Augusta National Women’s Amateur daily rounds. This means golf enthusiasts will have several opportunities to experience the iconic tournament atmosphere.

Ticket Pricing Details

Ticket prices for the Masters have seen an increase compared to 2025. Here are the details:

  • $125 for practice rounds on Monday and Tuesday (up from $100 in 2025).
  • $150 for Wednesday’s practice round and the Par 3 contest (up from $100 in 2025).
  • $160 for daily tournament rounds from Thursday to Sunday (up from $140 in 2025).

For the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, the ticketing structure is different:

  • The first two rounds are free.
  • The final round costs $150 per ticket.

Application Restrictions and Requirements

Applicants are restricted to one application per household from their permanent address. Applications from temporary addresses, second homes, or business locations will not be accepted. Additionally, applicants must be at least 21 years old to apply for tickets.

Notification and Payment Process

Winners will be notified in late July, with the payment portal opening on July 20. Successful applicants must complete their payment by an August deadline, and tickets will be mailed out in March 2026. Importantly, the resale of any tickets is strictly prohibited by Augusta National, and ticket purchases can only be made through the official sources. Third-party resellers may charge significant markups, and tickets from those sources may not be valid.

Additional Considerations for Attendees

Children must have their individual tickets regardless of age, and guardians are responsible for supervising their behavior during the event. Additionally, all personal devices, including phones, are prohibited on tournament days. Patrons can bring cameras during practice rounds, but this is strictly prohibited during tournament rounds.

Those who applied for Monday tickets in 2025, which were evacuated due to weather issues, will be guaranteed the option to purchase tickets for Monday in 2026, ensuring a fair consideration for affected applicants.

As interest in the Masters Tournament and the Augusta National Women’s Amateur builds, enthusiasts are encouraged to prepare their applications promptly to ensure a chance to be part of these distinguished events.
