Los Angeles, California – The LMU men’s golf team is all set to make waves in the coming season with an action-packed tournament schedule for the 2025-26 school year! Golf enthusiasts and fans can look forward to a total of ten thrilling tournaments that promises excitement, skillful play, and plenty of opportunities for the Lions to shine.
The season will get underway on the picturesque greens of Knoxville, Tennessee, as the team kicks off their schedule with the Visit Knoxville Collegiate from September 5-7, 2025. This event is anticipated to set the tone for an invigorating competition as the young athletes will showcase their talent on a national stage.
LMU’s fall schedule consists of four tournaments, and here’s the twist – they will all be played outside of the Pacific Time Zone! First up after Knoxville, the team will head to the Olympia Fields Country Club in Illinois for the renowned Fighting Illini Invitational. Finally, the fall season wraps up with one last contest from October 24-26, 2025, making it an exhilarating trio of golfing weekends in a row! After that, the players will have a little breather to re-energize for the demanding spring semester ahead.
As we flip the calendar to 2026, the Lions will roar back to action with the Southwestern Intercollegiate at North Ranch CC in Westlake Village, California, from January 26-28. This tournament will welcome not just LMU but also numerous competitive schools, setting the stage for a thrilling start to the year.
In February, the golf team is off to the beautiful island of Kauai for the John A. Burns Intercollegiate at The Ocean Course at Hokuala. What a dream! Playing on an island surrounded by breathtaking scenery, the team will surely be inspired to bring their best game. Afterwards, they are scheduled to compete in Cal’s Desimone Invitational in Northern California—another chance to showcase their talent.
In mid-March, LMU is excited to host the Pauma Valley Invitational from March 16-18, 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for the players to shine on their home turf, attracting a strong line-up of competing teams. With everyone cheering for them, the Lions will surely step up their game!
