Jones, Jr., Timothy C. Jones, and Bianca C. Jones. He also leaves behind a brother-in-law, James Berry, two sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Vera Jones, and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.

His passing is not only a loss for his family but also for the broader community. Prior to his death, Jones served as the founder and pastor of Agape Love Fellowship Ministries in Norwood, Georgia, a role he embraced with dedication since the church’s establishment in 2019. He routinely led services every Sunday and was known for his vibrant personality and engaging sermons.

In addition to his pastoral work, Jones served his country in the United States Army during the Gulf War, where he was deployed to Saudi Arabia. Following his military service, he became involved in various community initiatives, including his extensive work with the Augusta Housing Authority and the organization Young Life, aimed at guiding youth towards Christian faith. His efforts in these programs showcased his commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of young people, instilling in them the values of faith and leadership.

Throughout his life, Jones was recognized as a gifted preacher and speaker, sharing his message at numerous churches across the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). His poignant delivery and heartfelt approach to preaching resonated with congregation members, fostering a welcoming and loving atmosphere in his church. Many remember him not only for his sermons but also for his jovial spirit and the infectious smile that brightened the days of those around him.

Pastor Jones faced personal losses with resilience; he is preceded in death by both parents, Mr. Linton “Doc” Jones, Sr., and Mrs. Lucy R. Jones, as well as his sister, Lucille Jones, and five brothers. Despite these challenges, he remained a pillar of strength and faith for his family and congregation.
