Witnesses observed her vehicle, a Chevrolet Malibu, swerving before the accident, which involved a collision with a Toyota SUV.

Following the crash at approximately 2 PM, authorities were able to briefly reach Rhodes via phone. During this communication, she indicated she was experiencing a medical condition. A deputy advised her to call 911 to enable locating her via GPS, but she did not follow through. Prior to the incident, Rhodes’ roommate reported that she had been experiencing symptoms consistent with blood pressure issues and stroke.

At the time of the accident, Rhodes was having one arm in a sling and was last seen wearing a red shirt, black shoes, and a hat. She is described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds. Local authorities intensified their search efforts, which included grid searches of the surrounding area, but to date, no signs of Rhodes have been discovered.
