Camron Jakai Brown, a 20-year-old man, has surrendered to authorities in relation to the shooting death of 28-year-old Raekwon Tyrell Brinson at a local store. Camron Jakai Brown, a 20-year-old, has turned himself in to authorities for his alleged involvement in the murder of 28-year-old Raekwon Tyrell Brinson during a shooting incident at One Stop & Shop on Barton Chapel Road. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office reported that Brown surrendered on Tuesday morning after being identified as a suspect in the fatal shooting that occurred on July 10, 2025.
The tragic event unfolded at approximately 2:52 p.m. when Brinson was shot while standing in the doorway of the store.
