US Foods is set to launch a new CHEF’STORE in Augusta, providing a range of wholesale food and restaurant supplies to the public and local businesses. Located at 102 Mason McKnight Jr. Parkway, this marks the second CHEF’STORE in Georgia. A ‘Business Preview Day’ will take place just before the grand opening, allowing local restaurants to explore special promotions and offerings.

Augusta, Georgia is set to welcome a new US Foods CHEF’STORE on August 23, 2025, offering a wide selection of wholesale food and restaurant supplies to both local businesses and the general public. The store will be situated at 102 Mason McKnight Jr. Parkway, conveniently located near CarMax and Camping World.

This opening marks the second CHEF’STORE establishment in Georgia, following the successful launch in Sandy Springs near Atlanta. The Augusta location aims to serve an increasing demand for restaurant-grade products and supplies, broadening access to quality food items beyond the restaurant community.

At the CHEF’STORE, customers will find a diverse array of offerings including fresh meat, seafood, produce, dairy, deli items, groceries, beverages, and various restaurant and cooking supplies. Notably, there is no membership fee required to shop at the store, making it accessible to both professionals and the public alike. The focus will be on providing products in bulk quantities, catering primarily to restaurants while also supporting individual shoppers.

Before the grand opening, the CHEF’STORE will host a “Business Preview Day” on August 22, 2025. This preview is designed to connect local restaurants and business owners, allowing them to explore the store’s offerings and benefit from special promotions or insights into product availability prior to the official opening.

The CHEF’STORE brand comes from the Smart Foodservice Warehouse chain, which was acquired by US Foods in 2020 for $970 million. This acquisition led to the rebranding of Smart Foodservice locations as US Foods CHEF’STORE starting in 2021. Currently, there are over 80 CHEF’STORE locations across the country, primarily positioned in the western United States. Prior to the Augusta store’s opening, the nearest CHEF’STORE was in Columbia, South Carolina.

The development of the Augusta location was given the green light by the Augusta Board of Zoning Appeals in 2023 after a petition for a setback variance was approved. This milestone indicates the community’s support for expanded access to quality food supplies that the CHEF’STORE offers.

In summary, the upcoming US Foods CHEF’STORE in Augusta will serve as an important resource for local restaurants and residents alike, enhancing the availability of quality food and supplies. With the opening date fast approaching, both business owners and public shoppers eagerly anticipate the variety and convenience that this store promises to deliver.
