The women’s golf team, under the guidance of coach Carol Robertson, is all set to swing into action with a robust schedule featuring eight regular-season tournaments. Kicking off their fall season at the Cougar Classic on September 8-9, the Hokies will head down to Charleston, South Carolina, where they’ll compete at the beautiful Yeamans Hall Club, hosted by the College of Charleston.
As September rolls on, the excitement continues with the Schooner Fall Classic taking place from September 20-22 at the Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma, courtesy of the University of Oklahoma. The fall season doesn’t stop there! The Hokies will also tussle it out at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational from October 17-19 at Finley Golf Club in North Carolina, followed by another exciting matchup at the Landfall Tradition from October 24-26 at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, NC.
After recharging their batteries during winter break, the Hokies will dive back into action for the spring season. They will kick things off with a title defense at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate from February 1-3 at Hammock Creek Golf Club in Palm City, Florida, hosted by UNCG. Following this, they’ll participate in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational from February 20-22 at the Great Waters Course in Eatonton, Georgia, thanks to Mercer.
March is action-packed for the women’s team as they take on the Yale Invitational at PGA West’s Nicklaus Course in La Quinta, California, on March 9-10, and compete in the Clemson Invitational, scheduled for March 27-29 at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, South Carolina. The postseason beckons with the ACC Women’s Golf Championship from April 16-19 at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, NC. The road doesn’t end there, as the team aims for glory at the NCAA Regional play from May 11-13, culminating in the NCAA Championship from May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.

Meanwhile, the men’s team is getting ready for an equally thrilling slate of action with ten regular-season tournaments lined up, and six of these events being new for the Hokies! Their season gets underway at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate from September 5-7, where they’ll showcase their skills at Tennessee National Golf Club in Loudon, Tennessee, hosted by Tennessee.
After Knoxville, the Hokies will travel to Waynesville, North Carolina, to take part in the JT Poston Invitational from September 14-16 at Waynesville Inn and Golf Club. October brings the action to a fever pitch with three tournaments on the roster. They kick things off with the Cullan Brown Collegiate on October 6-7 in Lexington, Kentucky, hosted by Kentucky, followed by the Furman Intercollegiate on October 18-19 at Furman University Golf Club in Greenville, SC. They’ll close the fall campaign at the Steelwood Collegiate from October 25-26 at Steelwood Country Club in Loxley, Alabama.
As winter melts into spring, the Hokies will return to the course at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate from February 8-10 at Palmas del Mar Country Club in Humacao, Puerto Rico. March will see them highlighted at the Palmetto Intercollegiate on March 9-10 in Aiken, SC, followed by the Linger Longer Invitational from March 20-22, hosted by Kennesaw State at Reynolds Lake Oconee, Georgia. April will serve as a crucial month, starting with the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, on April 4-5, and then transitioning to the Lewis Chitengwa Invitational on April 13-14, hosted by Virginia at Birdwood Golf Club in Charlottesville, VA.
As the season draws to a close, the Hokies will turn their eyes to the ACC Men’s Golf Championship from April 23-27 in Panama City Beach, Florida, followed by the NCAA Regionals from May 18-20, with the championship event itself taking place from May 29 to June 3 at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.
