Howell was pronounced dead at 6:05 p.m. by the Richmond County Coroner’s Office after being shot at least once.
The three other shooting victims were immediately transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Among them, one is listed in critical condition, while the other two are reported to be stable. The shooting involved two victims being shot at an Advance Auto Parts store, while another two were struck by gunfire at a nearby Texaco station. In addition, a car was damaged by stray bullets in a nearby parking lot, as confirmed by a deputy at the scene.
