Freshman Ansley Graddy closely followed with a 37th-place finish, completing the course in 21:35.1.

Other notable performances from the Augusta team included sophomore Cheyenne Ryan, who placed 41st with a time of 21:44.3, and junior Camryn Wommack, who finished 53rd overall with a time of 22:12.4. Freshman Brie Andrews rounded out the scoring five by placing 61st, finishing in 22:25.8. Competing on an 8K course, the Augusta men finished with 121 points and established themselves as the fastest Division II program in the event. Leading the men’s team was senior Nasrudin Mohamed, who finished eighth with a time of 25:08.4. Following him were Andrew Helfers in 14th place with a time of 25:32.4, and Gabriel Best, who placed 16th at 25:34.6. Caleb Darsey completed the scoring five by finishing 19th with a time of 25:38.9. Freshman Eli Corn placed 32nd with a time of 26:09.2, contributing to the overall performance of the team. Other important finishes included Francisco Palacios (36th, 26:22.6), Benjamin Hall (38th, 26:29.1), and Jackson Musto (49th, 26:45.5).

The top 10 standings at the Queen City Invitational included teams such as Charlotte, North Carolina, Augusta, Milligan, Fayetteville St., USC Upstate, Montreat, Emory, Wingate, and Queens (N.C.). Augusta notably outpaced other Division II competitors, including Fayetteville St. (5th, 191 points), Wingate (9th, 249 points), and Lenoir-Rhyne (14th, 397 points). Further acknowledging his performance, Nasrudin Mohamed was named the Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Week on September 15, 2025, for his impressive finish at the Queen City Invitational. His time of 25:08.4 marks the fastest time recorded in the conference for the season thus far.

The Augusta men’s cross country team entered the season as the defending Peach Belt Conference champions and was projected to retain their title in the preseason coaches’ poll, receiving six first-place votes and a total of 62 points. The team is on a quest to secure their seventh consecutive conference title and the tenth overall in program history. The schedule for the men’s team includes four regular-season meets leading up to the Peach Belt Conference Championships on October 25 in Milledgeville, GA.
