Deputies responded to a report of a deceased individual at approximately 11:09 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Gordon unresponsive in a parking lot. Initially, there were indications that the case might be traffic-related; however, further investigation revealed that he had likely been stabbed. Gordon was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:35 p.m. by Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose.
