In the first match of the day, Augusta faced off against Middle Georgia State, dominating the match and winning in straight sets with scores of 25–19, 25–21, 25–17. The Jaguars showcased impressive teamwork, recording a team hitting percentage of .326 and achieving 43 kills, while effectively limiting their opponents to a hitting percentage of .173.

Setter Mia Saavedra was a standout performer, leading the team with 13 kills at an impressive hitting percentage of .579, along with contributing 16 assists and 2 service aces.
