Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Welcome to
https://www.hereaugusta.com
(the “Site”). We respect the intellectual‑property rights of others just as
we expect others to respect ours. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act,
Title 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), a copyright owner (or agent) may submit a takedown
notice to our DMCA Agent. As an internet‑service provider, we claim safe‑harbor
immunity for user‑generated content when we follow the DMCA’s procedures.

Notice of Infringement – Claim

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or authorized agent);
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information
    reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (please include the full URL);
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to contact the complaining party
    (name, physical address, email, phone and fax);
  5. A statement of good‑faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by
    the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and—under
    penalty of perjury—that the complaining party is authorized to act for the
    copyright owner.

17 U.S.C. § 512(f) imposes civil liability (including costs and attorneys’
fees) on anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents information in a
DMCA notice.

Send all takedown notices through our Contact page or by email for prompt
attention. We may share the identity and content of any claim with the
alleged infringer.

Counter‑Notification – Restoration of Material

If you received a takedown notice, you may submit a counter‑notification to
have the material restored. Your counter‑notice must include (§ 512(g)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. A description of the material removed and its original location before
    removal;
  3. A statement—under penalty of perjury—that you have a good‑faith belief the
    material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent
    to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district (or any
    district where we may be found if outside the U.S.) and will accept service
    of process from the person who filed the original notice; and
  5. Send the counter‑notice via our
    DMCA Contact Form or email
    dmca@hereknowledge.com.

Repeat‑Infringer Policy

We maintain a record of DMCA notices and, in good faith, identify repeat
infringers. Accounts that violate our repeat‑infringer policy will be
terminated.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this page and our DMCA procedures at any time.
Please review this policy periodically for changes.
